![]() This case of contemptable judiciating really happened. Zarcone v. Perry, 572 F.2d 52 (2d Cir. 1978). The decision of the trial court was upheld, which was an award of $80,000 for conpensatory damages and $60,000 for punitive damages. Note: You may have noticed that we call the defendant a "former judge". He was removed from his position as a result of his actions. Many thanks to Pete Sharbo for supplying us with this case. |
